Early Intervention is a program designed to serve preschool students, ages 3-5, who have been identified as requiring special education and who reside in the Kingsburg Elementary School District. All students in the program have an Individualized Education Plan and qualify under an established qualifying condition (Speech and Language, Autism, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disability, or other established medical disability etc.)
It meets three times weekly for ninety minutes per session on the Washington Preschool campus. The program emphasizes early language development. It is taught by preschool instructors and is monitored and supported by a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Resource Specialist, a School Psychologist as well as other staff.
The program is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Session 1 is from 8:30-10
Session 2 is from 10:30-12:00
