KECSD Student Services Director Joy Bratton has created a Wellness website (wellness.kesd.org) which has resources and discusses topics during this unique time such as how to help ease the concerns of your child, how to create a positive home/learning environment, and to have healthy reassuring conversations.

The unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic has the potential to increase stress and anxiety. As caregivers and role models for children, many adults feel the need to model a calm and thoughtful response. The Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District would like to support you in that effort in any way possible. That's why our staff will do our best to support you in continuing your child's education at home. We will adapt our plans for instruction to best serve your children as the situation changes, and more information and resources become available.

Thank you for supporting our staff in their efforts to navigate these uncharted waters, and thank you for helping students through this period. We are blessed to be part of such an amazing Kingsburg Community!

We, as a community, must remember that every single one of us has the ability to help stop the spread of respiratory viruses like COVID-19. Every single person can help flatten the curve by diligently following these six steps:

    1. Stay home if you are sick

    2. Take care of yourself

    3. Follow social distancing guidelines

    4. Wash your hands

    5. Cover your cough with your elbow

    6. Don’t touch your face
